In our experience, after two months of dating, things are still pretty relaxed, but you have a good idea at this point if things are headed in a serious direction or not. Regardless of whether or not things are heading in a serious direction, you are still your own independent person and you have the right to make your own decisions.
OP thinks it is reasonable to demand that his girlfriend gets rid of her cat following his complaint of 'maybe having a slight allergy.' Bear in mind that this 'slight allergy' can be addressed with a Benadryl and a glass of water, but that's none of our business.
